OPPO sends outs invites for F1s event on August 3
The F series by OPPO is known for its great front-facing camera, which makes the smartphones great for selfie lovers. The F1s successor is about to be unveiled and the press is ready.
Oppo has started sending out press invites for the Oppo F1s announcement. We also know that it's scheduled to be unveiled on August 3rd in India.
The invite didn't give any other details away, but we imagine that it has a strong focus on its photography and cameras. The writing on the invite says "Step up the selfie revolution".
Not much else is known about this upcoming device, but Oppo says it will "carry on the F1's legacy of superb photography, sleek design and snappy performance, while adding new features and taking others to new heights".
A report reveals that the F1s will feature a 16-megapixel front-facing camera and an embedded fingerprint sensor in the home key, capable of unlocking the device in only 0.22 seconds.
We do expect it to have a very competitive price point, and according to Oppo, the F1 was the best-selling smartphone in the $225-$300 price range in countries including India, Vietnam, and Indonesia this May. It was also the second most popular handset in multiple other markets as well.
