In May, AMD announced the Radeon RX480, which became the cheapest graphic card available to support VR content. They are continuing to release low-priced graphic cards that have great performance with today's announcement of two new GPUs, the RX460, and the RX470. These newly released GPUs aren't meant for VR, but Radeon is naming them as an affordable way to get started in gaming while not compromising the quality.

The RX470 is designed for 1080p gaming and video streaming. It can reach up to 4.9 teraflops of powers, has 4GB od GDDR5 memory and has a memory bandwidth of up to 211Gbps. The RX460 is meant for e-sport gaming. It reaches up to 2.2 teraflops, 2GB or 4GB of GDDR5 memory and has a memory bandwidth of up to 112Gbps.

There aren't any details on pricing just yet, but they should be cheaper than the RX480, which starts at $199. The RX470 will be available to purchase on August 4th and the RX460 on August 8th.
