As we get closer to the end of the year, Android and Google fans alike are looking forward to one big announcement, the release of the new Nexus device; Google’s own flagship device that sort of sets the standard for hardware and most importantly software. The Nexus 6p has stood the test of time to be one of the best devices available, making Huawei popular among many tech enthusiasts now. This year there have been speculations as to which OEM is going to manufacture the new Nexus device(s). Rumours seem to be going in favour of HTC and this may likely be true. According to rumours, the HTC Nexus device codenamed “Marlin” will be this year’s Nexus device.

The images above are all leaked renders of the new HTC device according to tech blog TechDroider. The device is rumoured to feature a 5.5 inch screen which is a step down from the larger 5.7 inch screen of the Nexus 6p. The device also has no front facing speakers which may disappoint a lot of audiophiles. It has been said that the device would come with 4GB of RAM and a 3450mAh battery running on Android Nougat as expected. These rumours are in no way facts; they may be actual images of the real device or perhaps the projection of fans’ ideas. Soon enough we would know what the Nexus looks like. What do you think?
