This new phablet operates both Android and Windows 10 - also works as a projector

The smartphone market is highly-concentrated of a very large number of devices, and companies are struggling to create a unique selling point for their smartphones. This new device by Akyumen, called the Holophone Phablet is so good that Phablet is in it's official name.

So how exactly is it as unique and good as it claims to be? It lives up to it's name of Phablet, thanks to its body measuring up to 7 inches. Concentrating on the phablet element, it's basically a tablet that consists of normal features of a phone.

Let's not forget that it can also dual-boot on two operating systems - Android and Windows 10. Did I mention that it doesn't use the mobile version of Windows 10? The Holophone Phablet utilises the desktop version of Windows 10, but people like me might not be too comfortable using Windows 10 on a 7-inch screen. To overcome this issue, Akyumen created the device to boast a 35-lumen, 720p pico projector with the ability to display on areas up to 100 inches.

Here's some of the superb features:

  • Windows 10 and Android Lollipop

  • 7-inch 1080p display

  • 720p pico projector

  • Intel Cherry Trail 8300 processor

  • 4 GB of RAM

  • 128 GB of internal storage (upgradable)

  • 13 MP rear-facing camera

  • 5 MP front-facing camera

  • 2910 mAh battery

Although the device is very impressive and unique, it may seem a little crazy in others' eyes. Akyumen could potentially "over-do it" with the device, but if they can manage to make device as useful and powerful as it seems, then the phablet might become one of the top in the industry.

Want to get your hands on the Holophone Phablet? You'll have to dish out between $600 to $950, depending on the specific variant that suits you. Are you actually interested? Make sure you leave your view below and feel free to connect with any of our social media pages right now!
