Android N (Nougat) could be released this month
Evan Blass, a well know "leaker" that we have told you about before, now believes Android N will be released this month, and it looks to be true. In his tweet shown above, he mentions that Nexus 5 users will not be receiving this update. He also says a security patch will be released on August 5th.
Google is right on target for this release, even a little early. As Android Central reports, the past five months Google has been releasing betas for its developers, the latest one on July 18th. We think instead of Google releasing another beta, they will release the full version towards the middle of this month.
Speaking of the Nexus phones, the new Nexus' usually are released right around the Android software update. Because the software is running ahead of schedule, you can also expect these new phones sooner than later.
It seems like Google is filling August with lots of new. What do you think of Google being ahead of schedule are they making room for something new? Let us know in the comments below.
