Google now let's you find out who mentions your name on the Internet
An all-new feature in Google Search will empower people to not only find out who is saying their name, but also receive notifications when they're being said.
It's called “Stay in the Loop”, and intends to inform users like you and I via Gmail every single time our names are said or searched. If you want to use the feature, you'll need to stay logged in to your Google ID and authorise Google Search to keep a log and save your Internet activities.
So now once you're on the Google homepage, you'll notice a new widget that's available at the bottom of the first page of search results. From there you can set-up a new Google Alert for new references of your name. What's more is that you can tweak the settings such as email frequency, languages, regions, and even decide if Google should send you the best results and the preferred email address to send them to. Once you allow Google to handle your data, you'll receive some security and privacy controls.
