An intel scientist has shown us a sneak-peek of a new Intel project he has been working on for the HTC Vive, it is a "horn" that fits on top of the VR headset, which features extra cameras and sensors, supposedly making it harder for you to walk into random objects. Dimitri Diakopoulos tweeted: "I felt that VR needed a solid unicorn peripheral with six additional cameras,".

Each of the cameras in the horn weighs 10 grams, which means the horn will be quite light. The project isn't only to make it harder to walk into objects or walls, it could also be
designed to track your hands.
It is still unknown if the horn will be for developers or consumers, but as far as we are, the horn is still a project and not a product.
What do you think? Would you use this if it came out for consumers? Do you own a HTC Vive? Let us know in the comments down below and make sure to connect with us on social media!
