Samsung Galaxy Note 7 Themes will support third-party icon packs
Third-party themes were first supported on the Samsung Galaxy S6 and S6 Edge, and they were also the first Android Smartphone to do it as well. Live wallpapers also started to be supported in themes. Now, custom third-party icons packs will be supported on the Note 7, as well a somewhat redesign of the UI.
On the newly released Note 7, the themes section has three separate sections : wallpapers, themes, and icons. Wallpapers, themes, and icons can now be mixed and matched by users, and adds great customizability to the device since there used to be many wonderful themes with poorly designed icon packs.
When the Grace UX was first leaked for the Galaxy Note 5, support for icon packs was revealed, however, the Note 7 will be the first Samsung device to include this feature right out of the box. It's not clear whether this feature will also be accessible to existing Samsung smartphones such as the Galaxy S7, Note 5 or S6.
