NVIDIA may be already canceling their second SHIELD tablet (which isn't even confirmed yet)

The NVIDIA SHIELD K1 tablet is a great all around tablet geared towards "gamers". Earlier last month there were rumors speculating about a seconds SHIELD K1 tablet. Although this was never confirmed by NVIDIA, they were asking the FCC for a grant so it looked like the rumors were true.

In the note reported by Android Headlines from NVIDIA to the FCC shown above it doesn't really give us an explanation. The only reason we are given for the cancellation is "business reasons". After hearing the rumors in July, many were speculating about a newer, faster processor. This new tablet could've stacked up against NVIDIA's SHIELD Android TV, in terms of porformance.

Is this the end for the NVIDIA SHIELD tablets? It might not be. NVIDIA could just be working on another tablet and decided to drop this specific one. What do you think? Let us know in the comments below.
