Ever dream of having a personal assistant? Sure when Apple released Siri as a "personal assistant" it was a stretch, but the Amazon Echo is a totally different story.
Saying something like, "make sure my Genesis is 62 degrees when I step inside and turn it on for me, also when I leave turn the lights off and save some money on my heating bill while you're at it." That sounds like a personal assistant to me.
So, it's true, if you own a Genesis G80 or G90 (and an Amazon Echo) Alexa can start your car for you, according to Tech Crunch. This feature will not only be available to Echo owners but according to Tech Crunch it will also be available to "Tap, Dot and Fire TV" users.
I can already see dads out there wondering if their daughter would be able to sneak out, just telling Alexa to start the car and boom! Well, this one was thought through. To have the car and Alexa work together you will need to have a Genesis Connected Services Account. Genesis lets you have an account for free for three years after buying your car. You will set up a passcode through this account that you will have to tell Alexa to officially have her start your vehicle.
