The new Windows 10 update has broken many third-party webcams

Microsoft has recently released the Windows 10 Anniversary Update, which was supposedly going to fix many bugs in Windows 10. It has created even more problems though.

A massive backlash of negative feedback has hit Microsoft after they released an update that broke millions of third party webcams. The update featured support for two massive compression formats. This were the H.264 and MJPEG codecs. This should have let Windows apps have more direct access to the webcam after the update.

After this update millions of windows users have found out that their webcam isn't working anymore, even when using the Microsoft-owned video streamer, Skype. This is very annoying for the users. Microsoft is working to solve the issue, but in the meantime, this is very annoying for the users.

Have you guys experienced this problem? Or are you Mac users? Let us know in the comments down below and connect with us on social media. Also make sure to enter the almost expired giveaway on our giveaway tab.
