Images leak of slim PlayStation 4

Sony will be unveiling a slimmer version of their PlayStation gaming consoles not long after Microsoft releases their Xbox One S. The PlayStation 4 console has been showing off a new matte finish while appearing in images in an online auction.
The Verge was provided by the seller with a few images of the alleged console. It shows a slimmer version of the PlayStation 4 as well as rounded corners. This particular model is a European model and includes a 500GB hard drive thanks to some images of the packaging. A post on the gaming forum NeoGAF has also shown some images that compare the original PS4 to this "slim" model.
Sony's PlayStation event is scheduled for September 7th and is codenamed Neo. It's not certain if they are going to unveil the 4K PS4 or a slim update on the current model.
