Be guided when charging your smartphone as Samsung Galaxy Note 7 exploded in China
Samsung's latest phone, Galaxy Note 7, is costing about 900 dollars or more depending on where you buy it from. If you've spend so much money on your device, one of the worst things that can happen it that you lose it or that it breaks. One unlucky person, rumored to live in China, experienced that nightmare while the user was charging the phone. The phone didn't just break, it exploded.
When I heard it I got pretty shocked that this happened to a well-known and famous brand like Samsung. But that could maybe get explained because the person didn't charge the Note 7 with the original charger. The owner of the device used a MicroUSB to USB Type C converter. So if you want to be sure that this doesn't happen to you, ensure to use an official Samsung charger.
Now we can just hope that it exploded because of the cable and not the device, or that it was just the particular device. If it wasn't the cable or the particular device, this could be a big danger for other Note 7 users. If this happens to more Note 7 devices people can get injured. That would also be a huge problem for Samsung because they probably need to reproduce a new version of Note 7, without this exploding risk. But already this incident have ruined a small piece of Samsung's reputation.
