Every Android users have been quite excited when Google revealed Allo, a messaging app that makes conversations easier, more productive, and more expressive. However, not much attention has been brought to the feature that will make this app your daily messenger, Assistant.

Working in a similar way as Google Now, Assistant is a powerful tool that can do just about anything, even have a conversation with it. How awesome is that! Assistant is actually a standalone chat, more like a bot. Since Allo will be able to send voice messages, let's do the math: voice message + Assistant = Speech-to- Text. And if you are like me and do not really like to type, this feature might come in handy.

Whenever a question is asked to Assistant, it will first transcribe it to text and then answer it which is a great option to keep track of all your queries and requests.
With Assistant, you can also say goodbye to "Can't reach Google at the moment" or "Can't load search results" errors since when offline, the voice message will be stored and the request will be attended as soon as the device regains connection.
So what do you guys think about Assistant and Allo? Let us know in the comments down below and follow us on social media.
