Over the weekend, leaked photo of Apple Watch battery surfaced online with the specification of 42mm is likely to be the expectation of the next battery design to grace the device model.

The Apple Watch, going by its first-generation offers 246mAh battery for 42mm model which approximately runs for a day usage judging by users experience with the device. However, it tends to quickly drain out when it’s regularly in use.

A look at the leak Apple Watch 2 image reveals the 42mm will likely have a 334mAh battery span – with this; users will definitely have excess time options in charging the device to optimal level nonetheless.

Media reports revealed the Apple Watch 2 would have improved features which include; built-in GPS, news sensors to aid accuracy in signals needing more reliable power, and barometer.

In the meantime, expectations are high for the formal presentation of Apple Watch 2 this fall to clear the air on the progress of the new Watch battery design.
