Apple's Fall 2016 event is happening on September 7th

Apple’s next big event is on Wednesday the 7th of September. At this event apple is expected to launch new iPhones and refreshed Apple Watches. Invitations and a web page went live this morning simply stating “See you on the 7th.”

This is going to be the fifth year in a row that apple has had an early September event to launch its iPhones and other products. Apple will most likely launch its next generation iPhone, the iPhone 7, at this event. Rumors state that iPhone 7 will be very similar to the iPhone 6/S in terms of design with only some slight differences like fewer antenna lines on the back. There may one key difference between the 6 and 7 that seems to be very controversial. The removal of the 3.5mm headphone jack. There are positives and negatives to the move, like not being able to uses older or cheaper headphones or listen to music while charging but you can get higher audio quality via Lightning. The new models are also expected to be more waterproof and Apple might finally replace the 16gb model with a 32GB one.

It is expected that Apple may finally refresh it’s Apple watch lineup two years after its announcement and a year and a half since its release. Reports are suggesting that Apple will give the new models the same design but add in a faster SoC and GPS. Earlier reports suggested that it could feature a camera as well although plans might have changed since then.

We will be writing an in depth analysis of the Apple September 2016 event so make sure you check in at 10am PDT on the 7th of September!
