Acer rolls out Tobii eye-tracking gaming monitors

Acer has formally announced its new project device which is a trio-gaming monitor. It simply features sophisticated built-in Tobii eye-tracking support and a distinctively curved screen feature on one of the monitor.

Here are the lists of the new gaming monitors below:

• Predator Z271T

• Predator XB251HQT and

• Predator XB271HUT

The Predator Z271T features include a curved screen of 27-inch plus a 1920 x 1080 resolution with a 144Hz refresh rate while the Predator XB251HQT comes with 24.5-inch screen, 240Hz refresh rate and the third on the list – Predator XB271HUT, a 27-inch screen with a resolution of 2560 x 1440. These definitely provide gamers across the board options of adventure to explore with the new released gaming monitors.

Added to the new device functionality is a Nvidia G-Sync to prevent your screen from destroying.

Not missing the point of the Tobii eye-tracking which until now has featured in previously released games such as The Division, Mankind Divided, is seen as a feature to help support gamers sensory organs like the eyes in playing a game. However, it’s still unclear yet what the functions or use of the tracking device entails. I guess with time it’ll reveal itself!

To get one of these gaming monitors – you’ll be looking at 799 Euros for the Predator Z271T while the Predator XB271HUT goes for 899 Euros and the screens is expected to ship in October and December respectively.

There is neither official pricing release nor availability of these devices in the US. So, how excited are you to feed your eyes with the new Acer gaming monitor? Share your thoughts in the comment below.
