ASUS ZenPad 3S 10 announced


ASUS kicking IFA 2016 off with a blast with the ASUS ZenPad 3S 10, a tablet that has a 4:3 ratio 9.7 inch screen that is meant for ultimate media consumption.

As far as specifications go for the tablet, were looking at the aforementioned 9.7-inch display that has a 2048 x 1536 resolution display that has 264 ppi. It is being powered by a Hexa-core MediaTek 8176 processor with 4GB of RAM. There is up to 64GB of on board storage, with MicroSD support up to 128GB. Keeping the device powered is a 5,900mAh battery that has support with Pump Express 3.0 Quick charging. All of this is concealed in a body that is 5.8mm thin.

Asus is claiming that the new MediaTek processor can score over 50,000 on AnTuTu; which is a popular benchmarking system. Asus is also using their Tru2Life video-enhancement technology, that will ensure video clips look amazing. In addition, it also has NXP smart amplifier technology allows the tablet to achieve higher volumes without increased distortion. HRA support also makes it possible to listen to high-quality 24-bit, 192kHz audio. Not to mention that there is support for 7.1 surround sound.

No details on pricing and availability on the tablet just yet, but they could be released soon.
