Lenovo announces Moto Z Play Android smartphone at the IFA in Berlin


Lenovo has officially announced the Moto Z play smartphone at the IFA event which was held in Berlin. Moto Z Player is the third member in the Moto Z series. Moto Z and moto Z Force were unleashed in June. This Lenovo’s smartphone this time around isn’t made out of metal but it was rather made out of glass for fingerprint and it is claimed to be sold at $449 in October this year.

The Moto Z play comes alongside with 5.5-inch HD Super Amoled screen display, it’s also includes 3GB of RAM, 16-megapixel back camera, 5-megapixel front facing camera with a flash. It’s also powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 processor and two GHz octa-core Cortex A53 CPU. It has 3510mAh battery that will last for 50 hours according to Lenovo. They continued to say that, “Moto’s longest lasting smartphone battery ever”

Also they unpacked a new Moto Mod which was developed with Hasselblad. This will enable users to improve camera abilities of the device with an easy-to-attach accessory. According to Lenovo, the mods are created and designed to work with all of the Moto Z series. The company said that, the Moto Z will be sold at a price tag of $624.
