Amazon has unveiled new Fire HD 8 with Alexa integrated and better features


Report reaching us is that, Amazon has revealed the HD 8 and this time around it is claimed to come along side with improved features and Alexa integration. The Fire HD 8 is the first Amazon tablet that will support Alexa functionality. The tablet features an IPS display with HD resolution with 189ppi of density and the battery is expected to last for 12 hours.

The General Manager of the Fire Tablets Kevin Keith said that they believe in alternative approach to the tablet and their intention is to offer premium products at an affordable price that consumers will appreciate. Amazon continue to say that; the tablets will take 6 hours to fully charged. The tablet battery has 4,750 mAh and a vast storage which provides better performance. The Fire HD 8 tablet will cost less than $90.

It features a quad-core processor 1.3 GHz, 1.5 GB of RAM, 16-32 GB with microSD card. It runs the latest version of Amazon’s Android-based mobile OS the Fire OS 5.

The pre-order for the 16GB model will go for $90 which will make its debut on 21st September.
