FAA "strongly advises" to keep Note 7 off during flight
On Thursday night, the Federal Aviation Administration said that Galaxy Note 7 users should consider not turning on the smartphone during a flight. This is one of the latest opinions on the Galaxy Note 7 recall that was announced last week.
“In light of recent incidents and concerns raised by Samsung about its Galaxy Note 7 devices, the Federal Aviation Administration strongly advises passengers not to turn on or charge these devices on board aircraft and not to stow them in any checked baggage.”
Passengers have been banned from charging the Note 7 during flight from a couple Australian airlines. Earlier today, a Florida man believes that his Note 7 is responsible for his Jeep Cherokee burning to the ground. The phone is considered to be dangerous because of its flawed battery.
If you own a Samsung Galaxy Note 7, we highly recommend you to return it as soon as possible and follow the FAA's recent warning.
