Rumours says that Samsung will ditch flat screened flagships

Just some weeks after the release of the Samsung Galaxy Note 7, it starts to come leaks about the Galaxy S8. According to rumours, Samsung will stop making flat-screened flagships in the future.

Samsung´s S7 Edge was outselling the normal S7 this spring. So, Samsung thinks there will be no reason to keep going with the flat version. The Note 7 just came in an Edge-Version, so Samsung has already started to ditch flat screens.

Other rumours are also saying that the upcoming Samsung flagship will come in two different sizes. One model with a 5.1-inch display and one with a 5.5-inch display. The flat-screened version has always been cheaper than the edged model, so when they are ditching the flat screen the price of the devices is going up. So, if you don’t have enough money to buy a 5.5-icnh Galaxy S8 Edge device, you can buy the 5.1-inch version instead.

Some people think the edge feature is quite unnecessary, but it offers lots of cool features. 2014, the Samsung Note Edge were released. It was the first Samsung Edge device. After that, the Edge feature had been more and more popular. Even so popular, that Samsung maybe will ditch the flatscreen and just bet on Edge display. What do you think about it?
