Apple's iPhone 7 battery case adds more battery, it still looks unattractive

When the battery case was unveiled for the iPhone 76s by Apple, it brought in a lot of opinions for its unexciting design. This time, Apple have come up with a better Smart Battery Case for the iPhone 7, but unfortunately, it still looks the very similar as the previous version.

The iPhone 7 Smart Battery case is priced at $99 and according to customers who already own the accessory, it's equipped with 2,365mAh of power. That's 26 percent more than the 1,877mAh iPhone 6s battery case. There's also a small redesign to cover the gap where the headphone jack was, but it still features that exact same ugly hump on the back.

Apple has not yet confirmed the size of the battery in the iPhone 7, but according to TENAA, a Chinese certification site, it's been upgraded to 1,960mAh. The new Smart Battery Case should be able to charge the iPhone 7 117 percent.

Apple isn't offering a Smart Battery Case for the Plus-sized iPhones. If you decide that the iPhone 7 Plus battery still isn't enough, you have to get it from a third-party company instead.
