You can now upload your photos right from your 500px iOS app

The 500px has launched its first camera app, called Raw which allows users to take photos and upload them to 500px and sell them which they can earn a commission up to 60 percent on each image sold.
The 500px iOS app has been updated with new features: photo uploading. It means that you can finally upload pictures directly from the 500px iOS application. All you have to do is just tap the new upload button to load photos from your device photo library to your 500px portfolio. You can decide to edit the photo’s title, description, tags, category, set, thumbnail and metadata.
Sending your photos to the 500px for sales purpose takes few steps other than sharing it for feedback. It means that, you will be able to upload a licensable photo for commercial purpose without returning to your desk to send them so that audience can have a look and pay for them.
CEO of 500px Andy Yang said: We quietly rolled out our global photography on-demand service a year ago to preferred clients and the uptake has been unbelievable. RAW is the first of a number of products rolling out in the coming months to support this service. It’s a new way for photographers to secure paid work for doing what they love.
The 500px is available in the App store for free. It is claimed that Android version of the app will arrive later.
